MOORESVILLE- It is with great sadness that the family of Billie Victoria Drinnen announce her passing on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Her husband, Gary Drinnen, writes that she is another angel in heaven and the most unselfish person you would ever hope to meet. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with.
A memorial service will be held 1 PM Tuesday at Rocky River Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rev. Neal Carter officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
Billie was born December 31, 1936 in Columbia, SC to the late Willie and Ida Shealy. She worked in Civil Service at Ft. Jackson and at the Social Security Administration.
Billie will be sadly missed by her husband Gary of Mooresville; cousins, Marion (Bill) Fowler of Spartanburg, SC., Rita (Bailey) Preacher of Ridgeland, SC., and many beloved cousins, Harold, Clyde, Charlie, Deanna, Connie and Jimmy Shealy; brother-in-laws, Dr. Thomas B. (Anita) Drinnen of Knoxville, TN., Dr. Daniel B. (Sue) Drinnen of Dickson, TN.; sister-in-law, Sharon Bittle of Coarsegold, CA.; nieces and nephews, Tommy, Susan, Danny, Lane, Missy, Matt, Vicki and Valerie; lifelong friends, Bobbie Ross, Walt and Ann Burr, Ben and Betsy; numerous co-workers, and by beloved Maggie.
