Mr. William “Weaver” Jackson Worley, 87, went to his brand new home Friday, October 21, 2022.
A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Saturday 10/29/2022 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Daniel Ramsey. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
William was born July 20, 1935 in Buncombe County to the late Hubert and Lillie Wrider Worley. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Lenie Rue Banks, Willard and Wintford Worley.
William was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a long-distance driver for Tennessee-Carolina Trucking and Family Dollar for 56 years.
William is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Worley; daughters, Lynn Worley of Black Mountain, NC, and Terrie Caldwell of Charlotte; stepchildren, Sara Brown of Wilmington, NC, and Steven Chadwick and wife Michelle of Concord; grandsons, Nantha Prewitt of Greenville, SC, and Bryan Warren of Black Mountain, NC; granddaughter, Candace Caldwell of Charlotte, NC; step granddaughters, Elizabeth and Ella Brown of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Gracie Chadwick of Concord; and several nieces and nephews.
