Mr. William “Bill” Michael Celentano, 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his residence.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:15 am, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg, NJ. Burial will follow at Bayview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Jacqueline M Ryan Funeral Home, 233 Carr Ave, Keansburg, NJ 07732
Bill was born on January 18, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ignatius “Sonny” Celentano and the late Mary Sanchez Celentano. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Denise J. Celentano; brothers, John and David Celentano.
Bill was a powerlifter in his teenage years, earning the title of National Champion in 1977. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University. Bill had worked for many years as an inspector with the U.S. Customs
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie W. Celentano; daughter, Delia Celentano; son, Richard Celentano; sister, Stacey Goddard and husband Andrew; brother, Bob Celentano and wife Nanette; 3 nieces, 1 nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
