Wendy Parker

Ms. Wendy Lynette Honeycutt Parker, age 54 of Rock Hill, SC passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill surrounded by her children.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday April 12th from 12 to 1 pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Concord. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Roger Bostic officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis.

Wendy was born October 26, 1970 in Cabarrus County and was a daughter of Rickey Lee Honeycutt of Concord and the late Debora Lynn Proctor. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Joann Honeycutt and sister, Tammy Honeycutt.

In addition to her father Rickey, Wendy was dearly loved and will be missed by her daughters, Brittney Chapman of Concord, Samantha Chapman and husband, Lucas Walter of Cameron, NC and Jessica Helms and husband, Dustin of Salisbury; grandchildren, Alexis, Braedon, Caiden, Daphne, Killian, Paisley, Keegan, and Bentley; brothers, Johnny Honeycutt of Holly Springs, NC and Billy Honeycutt of Oakboro; numerous extended family and friends. She will be forever loved and her memory cherished.
