CONCORD-Mr. Tyler Warren Airheart, 32, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home.
Tyler was born March 10, 1986, to Joseph “Joe” W. Airheart and Susan Misenheimer Airheart. He was a hard working man, demonstrated by his work as the operator of Airheart Lawn and Landscape. Tyler was a man with a heart for others and was always there to lend a hand to anyone that might need it. His compassion and care for others were also shown during his time spent serving as a fireman for Mount Pleasant and Harrisburg Fire Department. He was one of the rare few that chose to run toward an emergency instead of away, all in the service of others. He was a “doer”. He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting and fishing, but was happiest in the company of his family, friends and dogs. He was the best son, brother, cousin and grandson anyone could ask for. Those who knew Tyler will share in our grief and smile through tears as we reflect on how deeply he touched our lives.
A service to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00pm in the sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Gwyn officiating. The family will receive friends in the Lighthouse immediately following the service. Interment will be a private service for the family.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Joe and Susan Airheart; sister, Alaina Finney and husband Joe; and a host of extended family.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to either Mount Pleasant Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 787, Mt. Pleasant NC 28124 or to Harrisburg Fire Department, 6450 Morehead Rd., Harrisburg NC 28075
