Tommy Ray Troutman, loving husband, father, and grandfather, of Concord received his angel wings on Sunday, July 10, 2016 after his battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 6PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6PM prior to the service. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the Oak Park Club House located at 1261 Branson Road NW, Concord, NC 28027.
He was born in Cabarrus County on October 25, 1948 to the late Andre and Ruby Walker Troutman.
Tommy was a Petty Officer in US Navy, having served two tours in Vietnam, aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and aboard USS Enterprise the day of the explosion. He later worked as a senior field service technician, earning technician of the year, for Bank Tech.
He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He loved his family and friends, being at the beach, and he loved to cut up and have a good time. The memories created and the love shared will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha “Mop” Moose. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Sheila Troutman; sons, Brad Troutman (Christie) and Bryson Troutman (Paulette); grandchildren, Cameron Cole, Taylor Rae, and Kaleigh Rae Troutman and Matthew Stephen Griffin; a host of nieces and nephews; and his babies Maddie and Mazie.
The family would like to express their thanks for all the prayers and kind words expressed during this difficult time.
