Terry Dagenhart

Terry L. Dagenhart, 73 of Concord, NC passed away Thursday, May 17th 2017.
The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 20th, 11:00am at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the memorial service at Cabarrus Country Club.
Terry was born in Mt. Holly, NC September 14, 1943. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a passion to teach. He spent his early career in transportation and then was a successful engineer/salesman for Jacobs Manufacturing. When he retired, he was finally able to teach. Many young people, through his tutelage, were able to attend the college of their choice. Terry also loved sailing. He obtained his captains license and went on many sailing adventures with his wife and friends. He was also a natural born musician who sang and composed, played piano, guitar, and banjo. He was an avid golfer and you knew if it was Tuesday or Thursday you could find him on the course.
Terry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Quinn Little Dagenhart, his son Erik Dagenhart and wife Michelle Sander Dagenhart, his daughter Caroline Dagenhart Crabtree, his grandchildren Matthew and Nicholas Crabtree of Atlanta, and Olivia and Samuel Dagenhart of Charlotte, his sisters, Judy (David) Cox, Linda (Harlan) Shumake, Melody (Ronnie) Walker and brother Garland (Marie) Dagenhart. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis NC 28083.
