Terry Chubirko

Mrs. Terry Jane Bratton Chubirko, 78, formerly of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Mrs. Chubirko was born on June 23, 1946, in Cabarrus County to the late Clyde "Lefty" Thurman and Cary Mae Verble Bratton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Chubirko. Mrs. Chubirko is survived by her daughter, Maria C. Arrowood and husband Brian of Mt. Pleasant, son, Mr. Michael Chubirko and wife Tammy of Concord; four grandchildren, Brandon Chubirko, Bradley Arrowood, Brianna Arrowood, and Bethany Arrowood, and one great-grandchild, Aspen Allred.

Mrs. Chubirko will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, coloring, and all crafting activities. She was a member of McGill Baptist Church where she enjoyed the singing and listening to the hymns and hearing the word of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of The Meadows of Rockwell and the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, for all of their care and compassion.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at McGill Baptist Church from 10-11am with the memorial service following at 11am with Dr. Steve Ayers officiating.
