Brown, Susanne organized several programs such as Battle of the Books, Books for Babes, and The Young Authors. Susanne graduated from Salem College, West Virginia, and received her Master’s in Library Science from UNCG.

Susanne had a passion for learning and passing on her love of reading to all her students. Susanne enjoyed travel, tennis, long walks on the beach with Keith and their dog Beazy and attending Carolina Panther football games with her family. She was involved in the Silver Sneakers Program and was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church.
