Sharon Talbert

Mrs. Sharon Kay Pendleton Talbert, age 81, of Charlotte passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at Atrium Health Main.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, May 22 at West Concord Cemetery in Concord, with Overseer Dorothy McGuire officiating.

Sharon was born November 27, 1940 in Cabarrus County, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Pendleton, who preceded her in death, along with sisters, Colleen Burrage and Marilyn Flowe, and brother, Lacy Pendleton, Jr.

Sharon graduated from Concord High School and Rutledge College. She was a loving mother who raised her children, supporting them in all aspects of their lives. She loved playing bingo and working crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Davina Miller and husband, Scott, David Love and wife, Beth, Jerry Talbert, Tiffany Talbert Burns and husband, Gerald, and Jamison Talbert and girlfriend, Shenequa Minter; grandchildren, Chanel Norman and husband, Damien, Jacari Robinson, Ari’el Talbert, and Zariah Dawkins; great-grandchildren, Amari McIntyre, Tahji Norman and Khari Norman; sister, Barbara Safrit of Marshville, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives.
