Scott Kent

September 3, 1964 — March 19, 2020

Mr. Scott George Kent of Indian Summer Trail, Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his home.

A visitation will be 3pm to 6pm Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Please keep in mind that only 100 people will be allowed in the building at one time due to the coronavirus.

Scott was born September 3, 1964 in Auburn, NY to the late Elwyn George Kent and Minnie Anita Philips Kent.

He was also preceded in death by brother-in-laws, Dennis Wickstrom and Calvin Bohon; and nieces, Debbie Hodge and Wendy DelValle.

He lived in Cato, NY and graduated from Cato-Merridian High School. After high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Scott was a fan of the Syracuse Orangemen, and the Washington Redskins. After moving to Harrisburg, he was employed by Weinstein Properties doing maintence at Bexley Apartments. Scott was a member of Providence Baptist Church, serving as usher and security team member. He was a loving devoted husband, father, brother, and son.

Scott is survived by his wife, Becky Brown Kent; daughter, Renee Kent; son, Ryan Kent and his girl friend Shelby; sisters, Bonnie Wickstrom, Peggy Bellen (Tom), Yvonne Kent, Pam Babcock (Doug), Denise Myers (Scott), Kris Bohon, and Diane Eastman; brother, Gary Kent (Terry); and nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Scott will be held at a later date.
