Ruth Bradley

November 16, 1932 — July 24, 2022

Mrs. Ruth Ann (Irvine) Bradley, age 89, of Concord, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

The family held a private viewing on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord, after which she was flown to the Tallahassee National Cemetery in Florida and buried with her husband of 64 years, John Eldon Bradley, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2019.

Ruth was born in Reed City, Michigan on November 16, 1932, the third of four siblings. Upon completing high school - where she excelled in musical studies, including piano and flute - she attended and graduated from the Moody Bible Institute, in Chicago, Illinois. Ruth met John while serving as pianist at a nearby church and they married in January 1958. After raising their family in the Chicago area, Ruth and John moved to Panama City Beach, Florida. Ruth was a gifted pianist, organist and children's choir director, and served our Lord with those abilities throughout her life. In addition to her music, Ruth loved to paint, knit, crochet (including creating outfits for dolls), cross-stitch, quilt, and arrange silk flowers. Line dancing was her joy later in life, as well as the Red Hat Society, and the local garden club.

Ruth is survived by her brother, Paul Irvine (wife Phyllis Irvine); her daughter, Cheryl Wynn – granddaughters, Natalie Couch and Stephanie Wynn; son, William Walter Bradley (wife Brenda Bradley) - granddaughters, Rachael Watson (husband Blake Watson), Lisa Gruenwald (husband Bryant Gruenwald) and Sarah Bradley; and daughter, Barbara Jean Gossage (husband Steven Gossage) - grandchildren, Peter Gossage (wife Jeri Gossage and great grandson Tobias Gossage); Rebecca Viscioni (husband Alex Viscioni), and Mark Gossage.
