Mrs. Rosemary Schultz (née Storms) of Concord, NC passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 96 after a short illness.
Rosemary was born to Ervin and Anna (Cowan) Storms on April 29, 1921 in Paterson, NJ. She grew up in Franklin (Beaver Lake), NJ. and married Ray Schultz at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in 1948. She was employed by Franklin Dress Company and D.W. Clark & Son Bus Company.
She moved to Fort Pierce, FL in 1961 and became the manager of “Three Sisters Clothing Store” on Orange Avenue, a position she held for 25 years until her retirement in 1986.
After retiring, Rosemary volunteered at Lawnwood Medical Center as a “Pink Lady” in Oncology Services where she served as department chair from 1987 to 1996.
Rosemary moved to Concord, NC in 1996 with family and enjoyed music, knitting, and crossword puzzles.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Wayne McMillan and grandson, Matthew McMillan, of Concord, NC; sister Eileen Marcrander of Sparta, NJ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene Rose; her parents, Ervin and Anna; her sisters, Loretta Weigh and Marcella Lavorgna; her brother, William Storms; her niece, Jeanne Weigh Claro; and her former husband Ray Schultz.
At Rosemary’s request, no services will be held.
