Robert C Fisher, Sr (Bob) of Concord, NC, passed away peacefully after declining health on November 16, 2023 at the age of 83.
Join family and friends of Robert Craig Fisher Sr. (Bob) for a Celebration of Life on Saturday January 13, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at the Lower Level of “THE BARN” at Frank Liske Park, 4001 Stough Road, Concord, NC 28027. Casual attire is appropriate, and lite refreshments will be served.
Bob was born in Charlotte, NC on June 5, 1940 to Craig and Edith Fisher. He met Brenda Marie White, and they were married on March 21, 1959. He completed his high school education at night while having a full-time job, then in 1963 he opened Fisher & Farrow Sunoco Service Station/Garage in Charlotte, NC, which he owned and operated until 1995.
Bob loved his family deeply and worked hard to provide for them throughout his life. He had a great since of humor that kept his family and friends laughing, and when he was younger liked fishing with his brother Red and their friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Fisher (Red), and Lewis Fisher (Eddie); his sisters, Ruby Fisher (Tootsie), and Janice F Miller; and grandson, Hayden Kyle Fisher.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Brenda Fisher; sons, Robbie Fisher (Kelly), and Smokey Fisher (Tammy); a daughter, Heather Starnes (Mark); a sister, Vickie F Jenkins (John) of Fuquay-Varina; granddaughter, Kayla Sizemore (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Memphis and Mallory Sizemore; step-grandson, Michael Hartsell (Elizabeth); beloved niece, Lisa F Sigmon (Bengy); and numerous loved nieces and nephews.
