Bob was an Army veteran serving during WWII as a guard at the Neuenburg war crime trials. He retired from Craftsman Construction after 30 + years of service and was a longtime and dedicated member of Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church. Prior to declining health, Bob had been an avid bird hunter, loved cheering on the Atlanta Braves and growing a bountiful garden. He truly loved his Poplar Tent church family, his Parkway House, Punchy's and the Lake Todd Fish Camp family.
Those left to cherish Bob’s memory are his numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thank you to Lacy Brumley who has been a lifelong friend. Also, the staff at Clarebridge, thank you for doing God’s work through your hands and hearts. Bob will certainly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be sent to Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church, 6841 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027.
