Peter Eldridge

CONCORD- Peter “Pete” John Eldridge, 54, passed away at Atrium Mercy Hospital in Charlotte on February 21, 2025.

A 12:00pm Wednesday (February 26) Graveside service with military rites will be held at Carolina Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends at Wilkinson Funeral Home Tuesday (February 25) from 4 to 7pm.

Peter was born on September 14, 1970 in Milwaukee WI. He was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served in Desert Storm. He was a longtime employee of Freightliner. He was a car guy that was fascinated by every facet of automobiles. He was the kindest soul with a great sense of humor. He was selfless but strong and had a bright, memorable smile. Above ALL else, he cherished every moment with Barbara and Amber. He was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin and father-in-law, John Anthony Weber Jr.

Mr. Eldridge is survived by his wife of almost 33 years, Barbara Jean Eldridge; daughter, Amber Michelle Eldridge of the home; Mother, Leslie Wiles Spurlock (Ron) of Forreston, TX; father, John Peter Eldridge(Kathy) of Colgate, WI; brother, Jonathan “Jonny” Eldridge (Trish) of Milwaukee; and step sister, Becky Doberstein.
