Peggy spent most of her church life at Sharon Baptist Church which her father, the Rev. Frank Miller started. She was currently a member of Southside Baptist Church. Peggy loved collecting many cookbooks, but most of all cherished her time spent with her family enjoying traveling, fishing, talking on the phone, and cooking. She was “famous” for her fried chicken and her holiday shrimp creole. All family and friends enjoyed Peggy’s many humorous and enlightening comments over the years. These quips were enjoyed by people and birds alike as she would swing on her porch. We are certain that she is now swinging on her golden Heavenly Swing.
Peggy’s funeral service will be 3 PM Sunday (8/7/2022) at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Morrison officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Hospice of Cabarrus County. Kim and Megan were there and their help, care, and support were comforting. We appreciate all who have lovingly supported Peggy through her illness.
