Patricia Cook

November 19, 1939 — December 26, 2024

Patricia Ann Cook, 85, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on November 19, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Florence and Henry Dombrowski.

Patricia was a woman of resilience and determination. She earned her Business Associates degree later in life, a testament to her lifelong dedication to personal growth. After beginning her career in administrative support, Patricia spent many successful years as an executive secretary at Dun & Bradstreet, where she was known for her professionalism and commitment.

Patricia and her husband, Wade, raised their family in Summit, NJ, until they retired and relocated to Murrells Inlet, SC in 2001 where she embraced an active and fulfilling lifestyle. She was a passionate golfer and loved her time spent with the Niners, a local women's golf league. Patricia was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society and a regular participant in her Thursday night Mahjong games with the neighborhood ladies. Her social circles were a source of great joy to her, as she treasured the friendships she had built over the years. Pat and Wade were also avid travelers, with their most memorable trip being a cross-country adventure spanning almost 3 months.

Patricia was known for her warmth, her wit, and her caring nature. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched with her kindness and spirit.

Patricia is survived by her three children: Michael Cook (Lisa) and their children Taylor (Rachel) and Katelyn; Lori Daniels (Dennis) and their children Leigh Ann (Kurt) and Kelly (Mario); and Wendy Kotlar (Rob) and their children Jenna and Bryan. Pat was also a proud Gigi to Leigh Ann and Kurt's daughter, Charlie, and Mario's son (Kelly's stepson) Nathan. She is also survived by her brother Allan (Anne), her sister-in-law Donna, and her brother Buddy. She is also remembered by her 13 nieces and nephews and countless other family and friends.

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Wade, of 64 years, and her brother Doug.
