Pamela Suzanne Bellamy Weart, 61, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Per Pam’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
Pam was born on May 12, 1960 in Charlotte, NC to the late Betty Jean Bennett Bellamy and Thomas Richard Bellamy. She is also preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Sparks, and beloved dog, Chelsea.
Pam graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1978 as Valedictorian then went on to graduate from WCU Summa Cum Laude. After graduation she began her career as a financial analyst for IBM, then went on to Bank of America where she was a Project Manager for many years.
Pam loved spending time with her family, traveling to the beach and mountains, reading, cooking, and taking walks in nature. She also enjoyed writing poetry in her younger years, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank. Margaritas with best friends Dora and Susan was always an excuse to get out of the house and have fun.
She is survived by her children, Katherine “Katie” E. Weart, Amanda Langer, Benjamin Weart; brother, Andy Bellamy; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; cousin, Camille Sparks; beloved dog, Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 2101 Rexford Rd.#165W, Charlotte, NC 28211.
