Nathan Monroe Starnes

Mr. Nathan Monroe Starnes, 63 of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday October 30, 2016 at CMC NorthEast Medical Center. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 to 2pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home with the funeral following at 2pm in the chapel of Wilkinson Funeral Home with Rev. Buck Canup and Rev. Mitchell Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Starnes was born on November 10, 1952 in Cabarrus County to the late Andrew and Elizabeth Whitford Starnes. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Gibbs Starnes, one daughter, Rhonda Breedlove and Paul of Concord, one son, Jeff Bungarner and Wanda of Mt. Pleasant along with two sisters, Doris Starnes Ballard and Neal of China Grove and Carol Diane Bishop of Charlotte, two brothers, James Richard Starnes of Kernersville and Andrew Edward Starnes, Jr. of Rock Hill, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mr. Starnes enjoyed farming and playing blue grass music, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family in particular his grandkids.
