Mitchell "Bryan" Simpson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Mitchell "Bryan" Simpson, 41, of Concord, who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus with his family by his side.

Born March 7,1983 in Concord, NC, he was known to everyone as Bryan. He enjoyed fishing trips to the coast with his family and going to the flea markets.

Bryan is survived by his father, Boyce "Buddy" Simpson, Jr and stepmother, Tina; siblings, Shanna Sears and husband Cruz of Concord, Brittany Villardi and husband Michael of Cameron, Taylor Pennington and husband Kyle of Concord, Jon Taylor and wife Tallyn of Landis, Colby Taylor and wife Leanna of Salisbury; grandparents, Boyce and Elizabeth "Libby" Simpson of Concord; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Rushing Simpson, mother, Mechelle Porter Strickland, grandmother, Carolyn Starnes, and grandfather, Everett Eugene Porter.

On Saturday, July 27th at Bethlehem Baptist Church the family will hold visitation from 11 to 12:00 p.m. then the memorial service from 12-12:30 with burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev Timothy Walters will be officiating.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
