Mr. Mickey Dale McClamrock, Sr., 80, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at CMC-Northeast.
A funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Broadus Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Rodney Quesenberry. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 prior to the service.
Mickey was born on February 3, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Harold Howard and Johnsie Willard McClamrock. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth McClamrock; grandson, Brian Kirk.
Mickey is a Veteran of the US Army where he served in the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years at Cannon Mills, plants 10 and 16, where he was the weave room supervisor and also as a machinist for Moore’s Cylinder Heads. Mickey was a longtime member of Broadus Baptist Church and Mason Lodge 129-Princeton, SC.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Blackwelder, Angela Austin; sons, Dale McClamrock, Darren McClamrock; sisters, Iris Rushing, Shirley Moose, Janet Mayhew; brothers, Barry McClamrock, Wayne McClamrock; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Broadus Baptist Church, 59 Green St. SW, Concord, NC 28027.
