Mr Michael “Mike” Reeves Ingram, 73, passed away December 30, 2017 at his home following a 12 year battle with throat cancer.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 5-7 PM at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord. A private burial will follow at a later date.
Michael was born January 12, 1944 to the late Dorothy Cadill Ingram. He is survived by his father and stepmother Ralph and Esther Ingram of China Grove, His wife of 17 years Mary Ferguson Ingram, stepdaughter Amy Kluttz and husband John, stepson Rob Ferguson and wife Katie, and his grandchildren Abby Kluttz, Emmy Ferguson and Winn Ferguson.
Michael graduated from A.L.Brown High Schoool in 1962 and Wingate Collage in 1965. He served in the Navy for six years during the Vietnam War. His professional career was spent as a salesman in the Crane Industry. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved hunting, fishing, gardening, sitting on a beach chair or riding his Harley. He was also an accomplished knife maker and leather craftsman.
Mike loved his Lord, his family and his fellow man. He was never too busy to lend a helping hand or to cook a fabulous meal for family, friends or whoever was hungry.
