Michael Barbee

Mr. Michael Ray Barbee passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023.

His funeral service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday (1/2/2024) Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Donald Burleson. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 PM Tuesday prior to the service.

Michael was born November 30, 1958 in Concord to the late Donald William Barbee and Nancy Honeycutt Barbee. He was also preceded in death by siblings Randy, Keith, and Jerry Barbee, and Teresa Nix; and great grandson Noah Dabbs.
Michael was a construction worker. He loved being at the lake, fishing and enjoying his “lake family”, and working in his yard at home. Also being with his family, especially the grandchildren. Piddling was Michael’s favorite thing to do.

Michael is survived by wife Jackie Lowder Barbee; children Misty Sherrill and finance Brent Hagler, Daniel Barbee, and Samatha Barbee; grandchildren Andrew Voorheis, Jalen Dabbs and finance Autumn Carter, Dakota Sherrill, Kyle Walker, and Gavin Lynch; great grandson Langston Dabbs; and sister Tonya Tucker. He is also survived by his canine companion, Layla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
