She was a wonderful cook and skilled seamstress, loved to read, and enjoyed hosting her bridge club. The family’s annual summer holiday to New Smyrna Beach, FL was forever a highlight of her life. Even in her late life, many people referred to her as the true Southern lady. A lifelong, committed Christian, Martha instilled in her children and grandchildren a love of Christ and Biblical standards. She and her husband were married for more than a half century, and she cared for him during nine years of his battle with ALS.

Martha is survived by her son, Phillip W. Wilson; daughter, Melanie W. Westbrook and her husband Mac; and her cherished granddaughters, Holly L. Westbrook and Kristy N. Westbrook.

The Wilson and Westbrook families are thankful for and appreciative of the extraordinary care provided by the staff of St. Andrews Living Center.
