Martha Irene Clay Crisco, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church with Pastors Roger Bostic and James Ward officiating. Burial will take place in West Concord Cemetery.
She was born on June 22, 1940 to the late James “Jim” Oscar Clay and Etta “Vernie” Bolton Clay.
Mrs. Crisco was a lifelong member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who cared for her family and was a peacemaker for all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Ray Crisco; daughter, Vickie Sutton; sisters, Jo Simpson, Delores Brafford, and Brenda Biggerstaff; brothers, Dub, Bill, and Frank Clay; grandchildren, Tony Crisco, Jr., Matt Flesher, and Jason Rimer.
Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Patricia Black and husband Bill of Kannapolis, Tammy Poplin and husband Mark of Locust, and Cindy Miller and husband Todd of Concord; sons, Clonnie Crisco and wife Tammy of Concord, Phillip Crisco, Sr of Rock Hill, SC, and Tony Crisco and wife Julie of Oakboro; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Roach, Carol Sapp, and Betty Daniels; and Willie Clay and wife Tammy.
She also leaves eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Rimer, Justin Crisco(Kaitlyn), Matthew Crisco(Hannah), Kevin Crisco, Phillip Crisco Jr., Crystal Causby, Ashley Black, Brandy Raborn(Matthew), Amanda Hines(David), Savannah Miller, and Brandon Miller; fourteen great grandchildren, Wesley, Grayson, Colton, Hunter, Tegan, Corbin, Ivey, Audrie, Junior, Jaxon, Emma, Jay, Maddy, and Raelynn; and two great great grandchildren
