Margaret Threadgill

Mrs. Margaret Dianne Lee Threadgill, age 91 of Concord, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Savior on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Monday, March 17th with a visitation starting at 1pm at Gordon Heights Baptist Church. Pastor Matthew Tucker will conduct her funeral at 2 pm, and burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Margaret was born September 26, 1933 in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Lee and Mary Talbert Mullis, her husband, Ray Weldon Threadgill, Sr. daughter, Donna Helms and her husband, Butch, son-in-law Danny Taylor, and siblings; Naomi Linker, Willie Lee, Ronnie Mullis, Betty Dean & Phyllis Page.

A dedicated Christian, Wife, Mother, Sister grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she loved spending her time with the ones she loved every chance she could. She enjoyed cooking and reading in her spare time. Earning her title of Nanny in 1972, she deeply cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and throughly loved watching them grow up. Margaret worked in hosiery all of her working years, retiring from Willis Hosiery. She joined Gordon Heights Baptist Church in 1980 where she was still a member.

Left to Cherish Margaret's memories are; her daughter, Dianne Threadgill Taylor; sons, Ray Threadgill, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, Mike Threadgill and wife, Dianna, Wayne Threadgill and wife, Pam; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
