Mrs. Margaret “Louise” Scott Isenhour, 89, of Concord, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Isenhour will lie in state at Wilkinson Funeral Home from 9:00am-5:00pm on Thursday, February 4 and Friday February 5, and again 1 hour prior to the funeral service. The family will greet friends following the graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery.
The funeral service will be live streamed on the Wilkinson Funeral Home Facebook page, starting at 2:45 PM.
Louise was born on August 26, 1931 in Concord to the late Martin Luther and Mary Belle Beaver Scott. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Melvin Isenhour; brothers Van, Elmer, Roy, and Fred Scott and sisters Elona Hatley, Ethel Linker, Ruth Walter, and Edna Garmon.
Louise graduated from Evans Business College and was a secretary for many different businesses. Her favorite position was as secretary of the Cannon YMCA, where she had many joyful memories. Sending out celebration cards was one of her passions, having a perfect card for every occasion.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne I. Maness and husband, Terry; son, David R. Isenhour and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Caroline Maness, Bryant Whitley, Christine Whitley, Kelsey Liseo and husband Chris, Kelly Martin, Michael Martin and wife Courtney, Katelyn Rae Hinson and husband Justin, Ashley Wondra and husband Joey, and Lauren Roseman and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Kenzi, DeLaina, and Amelia Martin, Riley and Elena Liseo, Taylor, Josie, and Amy Hinson, Carter, Kennedy, and Crosby Wondra, and Ellie Roseman.
