A service of celebration will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 11 at All Saints Episcopal Church with Rev. Robert Black, Jr. and Rev. James Bernacki officiating. The family will receive friends in the church living room following the committal in the church columbarium.
Mrs. Black was born October 29, 1929 in Kearny, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Leo Lolli and Louise Mary Signore Lolli. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Black (in 1982) and son-in-law, Drew McDiarmid.
Being from a large Italian family, Loretta was famous for her Italian meals, among other wonderful family favorites. She enjoyed traveling and gardening (she was known to have a green thumb) and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church until her health declined. Loretta loved her family, and all those who knew and loved her will miss those loving hugs and that sweet smile.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Susan Llewellyn of Concord; sons, Bob Black and wife, Pat of Concord and Leo Black and wife, Anne of Sinclair, Wyoming; her loving partner, Frank Russo of Concord; brother, Leo Lolli, Jr. and wife, Vickie of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Rev. Robert Black, Jr, and wife, Tyler, Matthew Black, Jennifer Black, Billy Black, Katie Vialpando and husband, Gabe, Jason Black, Kristy Llewellyn and wife, Susannah, David Llewellyn, and MaKenzie Llewellyn; 7 great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
