Linda Lee LeBlanc, 65, passed on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at CHS-NorthEast after a long illness.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Bowers officiating. An inurnment will follow the service at Carolina Memorial Park.
Linda was born in Bethesda, Maryland on March 25,1951, daughter of the late Francis J. and Lorraine M. (LaBell) LeBlanc. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol A. Sullivan, who died in 2007.
A longtime resident of Kannapolis, Linda worked at Cannon Mills for 28 years until its closing. She then worked as a nursing assistant at Taylor Glen. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, watching the Carolina Panthers and playing with her grandchildren. Plus, she was always up for a good game of cribbage.
She leaves her daughter, Lorraine Plyler and her husband, Brian of Maysville, NC; her son, John Butcher and his wife, Gina of Concord; her brother, Larry F LeBlanc and his wife, Janet of Surprise, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Amber, Lexi and Faith Butcher and Payten Plyler; her nephew, Gerald D. Sullivan Jr. and his wife, Theresa of Dayton, OH; and several beloved family members and friends.
