Linda Merlene Baker, 67, of Concord passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2016 in Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm prior to the service.
She was born on November 9, 1948 to the late James and Ruby Whitley Baker.
Linda enjoyed gardening, flowers, and wood working. She was also an animal lover and cherished her three cats.
Left to cherish her memories are her brothers James Baker and wife, Johnnie, and Timothy Baker and wife, Carol; nieces, Randa Eury and Kathy Sheehan; and nephews, Joshua Baker and Darrell Baker.
The family requests memorial donations to be made to Kerr Street UMC, 405 Kerr Street NW, Concord, NC 28025 or Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County 2010 Wilshire Ct SW, Concord, NC 28025.
