Kermit Ervin Tucker

Mr. Kermit Ervin Tucker, 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House, surrounded by his family.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Pitts Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Scott Davis. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 prior to the service.
Kermit was born on September 7, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late Floyd A. and Esther Brown Tucker. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Herman Tucker.
Kermit had worked for many years as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fixing up old cars and motorcycles, and riding Harley-Davidson's. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was a faithful member of Pitts Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gale Hoffman Tucker; sons, Keith F. Tucker, Ervin Brumfield and wife, Trisha; daughter, Kimberly Hancock and husband, Mike; brothers, George Tucker, Sidney Tucker; grandchildren, Brandon Mounce, Mary Grace Brumfield, Dakota Brumfield; great-granddaughter, Carly Mounce.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
