Kaye Elizabeth Crowle, 33, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital.
She is survived by her parents, William and Lee Beth Crowle, and her sister, Kristen Crowle, all of Concord.
Born in Concord, Kaye graduated from Concord High School in 2005 where she was a 4-year all-conference swimmer, a member of the National Honor Society, and was an NCHSAA Scholar Athlete. She attended N.C. State University. Kaye held several positions in the health care field, and most recently was employed at Carter Clinic in Raleigh NC as a laboratory technician.
Kaye loved to make people laugh. Her enthusiasm was contagious; her wit was extraordinary. She brought joy, love, and laughter into the lives of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents and sister, Kaye is survived by her grandparents, Patricia G. Patten of Concord, and Leonard E. and June R. Crowle of Conneautville, PA; uncles, William B. Patten Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Concord, Alan L. Crowle and wife, Jeanne of Raleigh, NC, and Kenneth D. Crowle and wife, Louise of Simi Valley, CA, and aunt, Janice K. Patten of Concord; cousins Hannah Ross Patten, Will Patten, Adelle Patten, Whitney Sykes, Jac Crowle, and Tomas Crowle. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William B. Patten.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Sunday, February 16 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Kaye’s life will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Scott Kenefake at Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel at 3 pm Monday, February 17. A private burial will precede the memorial service.
The family will be located at 674 Cottingham Pl NE in Concord due to the extensive road construction at their home on Virginia St.
Donations in Kaye’s memory may be made to Morris Animal Foundation, The Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County, or to a charity of one’s choice.
