Kathy Crum

Mrs. Kathy Ann Kimball Crum, age 63, of Concord, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 18, 2020.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 21 at 2 pm at West Concord Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Beaver Hammond.

Kathy was born September 28, 1956 in Cabarrus county, a daughter of Doris Morton Kimball of Concord and the late, Rev. Winfred E. Kimball. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Chasity Thompson.

Kathy graduated from Concord High School in 1974. She was a former florist owner and had been and office coordinator for Glen Laurel Homes. She was an active member of East Bethel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing with her beautiful tenor voice God gave her. She also had a wonderful artistic streak, where she enjoyed painting. Kathy was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, Ya Ya, sister and friend, who will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother, are her husband, Timothy Crum; daughter, Tara Capezzuto; grandson, Nathaniel Capezzuto; sister, Susan Clark and husband, Joey; nephews, Russell Clark and wife, Nicole and Brett Clark and wife, Amy; great-niece, Peyton Clark and great-nephew, Landon Clark, and other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to East Bethel Baptist Church, 398 Honeycutt Circle, Concord, NC 28025.
