Kathie Deyo

Kathie Louise Deyo, 72, of Concord, NC, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, November 21, 2024.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord, NC from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Kathie was born on January 5, 1952, to Arthur and Helen Little in Teaneck, NJ. After graduating from Liverpool Central High School and earning her degree from Powelson Business Institute, she began her career as an Administrative Assistant for major businesses such as Merrill Lynch, Bristol Meyer Squib, and other prestigious organizations and retired from Otto Industries in the Charlotte, NC area in 2021.

In 1972, she married Charles Walter Deyo whom she met in high school. They were married for 52 years and went on to have two children, Christopher Deyo and Jennifer Greene.

During her youth, Kathie was an accomplished pianist and has always been known for her kind spirit, loving heart, and strong will. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved animals. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting afghans, completing diamond dot art for others, following her favorite football teams, and watching her precious grandchildren develop in their activities.

Kathie was predeceased by her father and mother and is survived by her husband, Charles, son, Chris (wife Terra), daughter, Jenn (husband Preston), and grandchildren, Tanner Deyo, Micah Deyo, Charles Greene, and Lucy Greene. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Goodfellow (husband Brian) and Deborah Little and several loving nieces.
