Mr. Karl Heinz Thompson, 65 of Concord passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House. The family will have a memorial service on Wednesday at 2pm at Epworth UMC with Rev. Wayne Allen officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
Mr. Thompson was born on September 20, 1950 to the late David E. and Martha Feetz Thompson. He is survived by his wife Sandy Paull Thompson, one daughter Cara Wells of Concord, two sons Sean Thompson of Concord and Tony Thompson of Virginia, brother Scott Thompson of Virginia, sister Denae Thompson of Virginia, brother Marc Thompson of Virginia, along with four grandchildren, Bella Thompson, Ava Wells, Grayson Thompson and Justin Thompson.
Mr. Thompson retired from Phillip Morris as an Inventory Specialist and IT Manager. He served in the US Army, was a member of the Mustang club and member of the Rowan County Wildlife Association. Mr. Thompson also enjoyed playing golf and hanging out with his buddies at Three monkeys in Harrisburg, NC.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
