Karl Hauser

June 16, 1950 — February 10, 2025

Karl Henry Hauser was born in Mt. Vernon, New York to Henry Hauser and Dorothea VonHalle Hauser, raised in Walden New York, he graduated from Valley Central High School. Karl served Honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1969 -1973 as a Radio Man during the Vietnam War.

Karl was a community service volunteer firefighter, skilled tradesman in gunsmithing and a machinist. An enthusiast for camping, fishing, hiking and shooting, Karl loved everything in the woods and his favorite past time was reading and conversations.

Karl was a man who sought out knowledge to have a deeper love and understanding of God, he served the community youth with outreaches and fundraiser to help young men. Karl loved to laugh and make people laugh through sharing stories.

Karl loved all his in-laws, nieces, and nephews with a deep appreciation and can't wait for the family reunion with the Lord.

Karl was a devoted Husband and loving Father, he leaves behind his beloved wife Alice of 48 years and his two daughters and son-in laws: Shauna & David Byrum and Meghan & Scott Glines, his six grandchildren: Mychal, Junia, Seth, Kaleb, Jaden and Ryle and his brother Eric Hauser.

The family will hold a graveside service at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Friday February 14, 2025 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shower of Blessings Church, 506 Webb Road, Concord, NC 28025 or to VIA Health Partners, PO BOX 470408, Charlotte, NC 28247 of charlotte.
