Mr. James Lee Byrne, 68, passed away unexpectedly at Atrium Health Cabarrus on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brad Hargett. Burial with full military honors will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 am prior to the service.
James was born on November 21, 1950 in Charleston, WV to the late Robert and Russie Larch Byrne. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years in the construction industry and enjoyed watching Western and Police movies. His biggest joy was his family, his children and grandchildren-who he would do anything for.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Byrne; son, Jonathan Byrne and wife, Courtney; grandchildren, Alexandra, Olivia and Victoria Byrne, with Liam E. Byrne on the way; beloved dog, Comet.
