Herbert Hale Jr. Wellman

Herbert Hale Wellman, Jr., 83 of Concord, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at his home in Linville Land Harbor. The son of Herbert Hale Wellman and Eva Wellman Dutton, he was preceded in death by his parents, by a sister, Elizabeth Wellman Looschen, and by a son, Joel Andrew Wellman.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Monroe Wellman, a brother, James David Wellman (Althea) of Mount Pleasant, a son, Richard Kevin Wellman (Caroline) of Concord, a daughter, Amy Wellman Barrett of Jacksonville, Florida, and three grandsons.
The family requests that friends join them for a graveside service and interment at Carolina Memorial Park on Saturday, January 9th at 11 am. They will speak with friends following the service.
