Hattie Mae Wallace

CONCORD- Hattie Mae Johnson Wallace passed at Universal Health Care Thursday morning, June 8, 2017.
At 3 pm Sunday a homegoing service will celebrate her life at Church of God of Prophecy on Lincoln Street under the spiritual direction of Bishop Clarence Lott. Her body will lie in state prior to her funeral. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her wake will be Saturday from 4 to 6pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
Hattie was born on October 11, 1943 to Willie Lee and Jessie Mae Furr Johnson. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy where she was active before her health began to fail her. She was a loving mother and a very proud grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Earl Wallace; daughter, Leslie Michelle Barber; grandchildren, Mitzionare and Keyonis; and five brothers, Rev. Willie Lee Johnson Jr., Rev John Melvin Johnson, Fred Johnson. Paul Johnson, and Thomas Daniel Johnson.
She is survived by seven children, Kenny Earl Wallace of Kannapolis, Marvin Anthony Johnson(Colonell) of New York, Beverly Christine Lee(Garrison) of Albemarle, Kevin “Calvin” Wallace(Leslie) of Albemarle, Katherine Regina Burton(Frank) of Albemarle, Jeffery Lamont Wallace of New York, and Michael Duane Wallace(Deanna) of Concord; sisters, Judy Mincer of Concord and Sarah Cureton of Concord; dear cousin, Betty Murchison; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members.
