Harvey Francis Hole passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018 at St. Andrews Assisted Living Center in Concord, NC surrounded by loved ones.
A celebration of Harvey’s life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, 100 Branchview Drive NE, Concord, NC. Burial will be at a later date.
Harvey was born on December 6, 1939 in Auburn, NY to the late George and Mary Kukela Hole.
Harvey graduated from Auburn West High School in 1957 before joining the Marines. Harvey was a volunteer fireman, a member of the Sacred Heart Church, and a member of the local VFW in the town of Owasco, NY, the place he called home for most of his life before moving to Concord, NC. He was an avid sportsman—fishing and hunting were his passions. Harvey retired from I.B.E.W. local 1249 after a long and successful career as a lineman for the state of New York.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Thomas Hole of Florida; daughters, Deborah Salmon, Cynthia Francesschelli, Lorraine DiVietro, and Doreen Lupo all of Auburn, NY; seven grandchildren; and brothers, Edward Hole of Naples, FL and George Hole of Buffalo, NY.
