Mrs. Gladys Marie Gray Davis, 98, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Bland, VA.
A private graveside service will be held.
Gladys was born on March 5, 1923 in Concord to the late Martin Luther and Gertrude Williams Gray. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Harley Davis; son, Jimmy Davis; 2 late sisters.
Gladys worked for many years in the payroll department of Cannon Mills. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden as well as going yard sale hunting. She and her husband, William, enjoyed spending time boating on Lake Norman and High Rock Lake.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie D. Sloop, Rita Smith; 9 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
