In Loving Memory of Gerald Wayne MacClamrock ("Crystalwood")

It is with heavy hearts that we remember Gerald Wayne MacClamrock, who passed away on November 1, 2024. Born in Concord to Harold and Johnsie Faye, Wayne was the fourth of seven children, and he carried the spirit of family throughout his life.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery.

A dedicated businessman, Wayne was an integral part of the Concord community, known for his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for his various ventures. His love for racing homing pigeons brought him joy and excitement, reflecting his adventurous nature. Wayne found solace in the beauty of the North Carolina mountains, where he cherished many moments spent among nature.

Wayne is survived by his children Gerald (Carol), Carla, Candice (Brian), Lauren (Terry), Missy (Josh), Priscilla, Kimberley (John), Kelly (Zack), Ashlyn, and Thomas, ten grandchildren, along with his two sisters, Jan Mayhew and Bruce, Iris Faye Rushing and multiple nieces and nephews.
