Faye Cagle

Mrs. Faye Culp Cagle, 85, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospice, surrounded by her family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Carolina Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor David Hughes. A reception will follow the service at Falcon Ridge Clubhouse, 9525 Kestral Ridge Dr., Charlotte, NC 28269.

Born on November 14, 1938, in Pineville, NC, to the late Inez LaFoy Culp and James Garrison Culp, Sr., Faye was also preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Gordon Cagle, and her brother, Ted M. Culp.

Faye enjoyed a long career as a corporate secretary at Harris Teeter, where she made many meaningful connections. One of her greatest joys was playing bridge and going on trips with the Bridge Club Girls for over 60 years. Faye’s love for family was central to her life, and she cherished the moments spent with those she held dear.

She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” A. Lawhon, Jr.; daughter, Lisa L. Ryan; brother, Jim Culp and wife, Cathy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friends, Betty Flowe and JoAnn Smith. Faye loved her miniature schnauzer grand dogs, Roxie and Libby.
