CONCORD- Fay Stephens Brown Neaville, 89 passed away at Tucker Hospice House on September 11, 2016.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11am. Burial will be in Akron, OH.
Fay was born in Bono, Arkansas on September 21, 1926. She was the daughter of Charlie E. and Levolia Puckett Stephens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband Charles Neaville; son, Barry Brown; siblings, Frances Brooks, Audrey Pinner, and Charles Stephens; and grandsons, Brian Brown and Eric Watson.
Mrs. Neaville is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Hammett and husband John of Concord and Elizabeth Young and husband Jeffrey of Stillwater Oklahoma; sons, Milton “Bud” Brown and wife Bea of Mt. Pleasant and William Brown and wife LeAnn of Clyde, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Roxana Brown of Copley, Ohio; sister, Virginia Ingle of Concord; brother, Kenneth Stephens of Charlotte; the father of her children, M. Merle Brown of Port Orange, Florida; step-children, David Neaville and Diane Oskins and husband Edward of Fletcher ; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and 2 step grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Concord ARP Church, 177 Union St N, Concord NC 28025 or to Camp Dogwood for the blind and visually impaired, PO Box 39 Sherrills Ford NC 28673.
