Emma Pink (“Pinky”) Caldwell Rogers, 93, of Concord passed away on June 17, 2022.
There will be a service to celebrate her life on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 11 am in the Historic Sanctuary at Forest Hill Methodist Church located at 41 Buffalo Ave. NW, with Rev. Beverly Maulden officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Pinky was born November 15, 1928 in Cabarrus County to the late Latta Legrand and Effie Pharr Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cathryn Kennedy.
Survivors include a sister, Helene Linenberger (Lindy); daughters, Sheila P. Jones (Mike), and Susan P. King; five grandchildren, Matthew King (Jamie), Charlotte K. Blais (Brian), Savannah K. Royal (Shane), Adam Brown, Emily B. Meeks (Stuart); and five great grandchildren.
Pinky grew up in the Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church and then was a longtime member of Forest Hill Methodist Church. She retired from Aetna Life Casualty Insurance.
