Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher Propst Biggers, 82, of Concord, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.
A memorial service to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel. Prior to the service, the family will greet friends from 2:00-3:00 pm.
She was born on June 2, 1941, in Cabarrus County, to the late Helen Elizabeth Fisher Propst and Ben Barringer Propst. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Robert “Bobby” Biggers.
Elizabeth cherished her time at the beach and had a passion for travel, always eager to embark on new adventures and experience the world around her. Her faithful companion, Jazzy, was by her side through it all, a constant source of comfort and companionship. Elizabeth was also known for her renowned “Cook Book,” that was compiled after years of cooking for family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beth Fitzgerald and husband Scott of Thomasville; sons, Rob Biggers, Ben Biggers and wife Julie, all of Concord; sisters, Julia Lanter and husband Paul, and Jane Craver and husband Bub; grandchildren, Chad Biggers and fiancé Brooke, Allyson Hill and husband Lucas, Blake Biggers, Lizzie Fitzgerald and fiancé Reid, and Garrison Fitzgerald; great-grandchildren, Abigail and William Hill; her beloved dog, Jazzy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents of Concord Place for their compassionate care and support of Elizabeth during her time there.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Animal Rescue, PO Box 1076, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124, in honor of Elizabeth's love for animals.
