Doris’ family will be at the home of her daughter, Susan Clark at 16 Rosedale Avenue, Concord, NC 28027, the remaining time.

Doris was born October 18, 1935 in Cabarrus County and was a daughter of Wilton Neal Morton and Myrtle Lee Shoe Morton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Winfred Kimball, daughter, Kathy Crum, granddaughter, Chasity Thompson, sister, Barbara Crocker, brothers, Arnold, Hermon, Ray and Bobby Morton.

Doris retired from Cannon Mills and was an active member for over 43 years at East Bethel Baptist Church. She served in various positions at the church, never getting tired of serving the Lord. Her needs were few in want, however, listening to and singing gospel music, her church, her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, brought Doris more joy than anything she could ever have. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who will be dearly missed beyond measure by those who knew and loved her.
