Mr. Donald McRay “Donald Bug” Wagner of Fletcher, NC, went to meet his Lord in heaven December 24, 2021 in Asheville, NC.
His funeral will be 2 PM Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Michael Austin. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born July 2, 1954 in Salisbury to the late Walter Harding Wagner and Olene Wyatt Wagner. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Donald also loved drinking coffee and eating, along with helping other people.
Donald is survived by sisters, Darlene Johnson and husband, Robert of Rockwell, and Brenda Hege and husband, Van of Lexington; brothers, Ricky Wagner and wife Teressa, of Salisbury, Randy Wagner and wife, Melissa of Rockwell, and Robbie Wagner and wife, Terri of Salisbury; and a number of nieces and nephews.
