Delores Burris

Mrs. Delores Faye Boyd Burris passed away at her home Tuesday, December 23, 2024.

A graveside will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 27th at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Marvin Goodnight. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Delores was born May 24, 1943 in Concord to the late Homer Boyd and Katherine Shoe Boyd. She was also preceded in death by husband Carl E. Burris, daughter Renee Wilson, brother Darrell Boyd, and sister Patsy Harris. Delores attended Hartsell School, and later worked as a CNA with patients in their homes.

Delores is survived by sons Jimmy Riley, Jeff Riley, Dwayne Riley, Donnie Riley, and Sammy Mullis, Jr.; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, and other extended family members.
